SMART I.T. Services, Inc., is a rapidly growing network systems integrator in search of a Network Engineer to expand our staff of informational systems professionals. The ideal candidate will be a self starter requiring minimal supervision. You will be responsible for managing customer sites and providing feedback to sales staff regarding customer needs

Responsibilities Include:

Implementation, troubleshooting and administration of Windows, LANs, Integration and troubleshooting of various messaging systems. WAN installation and troubleshooting and Internet connectivity.  

Candidate Requirements:

• Must be able to work closely in a team environment
• Strong communication and customer interaction skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple concurrent projects
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a network engineering role
• Strong understanding of workstation OSs as well as Network Operating Systems
• Travel required in South East Michigan area using personal vehicle

Other Desirable Characteristics:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, engineering, or related field of study
• Microsoft MCSE and/or MCP Certifications
• COMPtia A+ and other certifications
