In January of 2003 we had Computer Networking Services come out and do a technology audit at our office.  Jerry spent the day asking all of us a lot of questions as well as sitting with our CSR’s to learn their workflows.  A few weeks later we were presented with a very professional write up indicating recommendations for our office.  Since that time we have had CNS implement many of the recommendations.  Looking back now, I can’t fathom how we lived without this technology. Our efficiency has gone through the roof!

Technology and system knowledge is not the only thing that CNS has going for it.  Specializing in the insurance industry means these guys know our management systems and they know our workflows.  You will also have a hard time finding a company who supports the MAIA the way the CNS does.

I am the Director of IT for LL Johns & Associates.  Our agency specializes exclusively in the Aviation Industry.  We have about 20 employees locally and remotely.

I have been in the Computer Industry for over 25 years, performing various industry roles with “Fortune 500” computer companies, from hardware and software design, to direct customer service, to sales functions.  I’ve done about all you can do in the industry.

I was referred to CNS through X Dimensional Technologies, a software company we are collaborating with in the development of an Aviation Specific Agency Management System.

We’ve been a customer of CNS for about a year and I can share the following observations:
 

  • Response times have been reduced from days to hours, or MINUTES in many cases.
  • The knowledge and expertise of the staff in all aspects of computer software and hardware is EXCELLENT.
  • I often am amazed that their ‘remote management’ system often notifies us of a problem BEFORE we’re aware of it. It also enables service without requiring an on-site (read that expensive and often NOT timely) service call 90% of the time.
  • Their specialization in the insurance industry is a huge plus for us. We are currently using a 12 year old software product (DOS and Win98 based) and they have been able to ‘tweak’ it long enough for us to migrate.
  • We have seen a reduction in our costs for this type of service.

A short story.  Last year we suffered a “meltdown” of one of our 16 port Routers.  I called CNS in a panic.  Even though their office is across town from us, they had a loaner router onsite in 50 MINUTES.  Enough said.
